5 Steps to a Well-Planned Renovation:

  1. Site assessment & sampling

    We analyze the initial situation:

    • Review of Existing Expert Reports
    • Geological and Hydrogeological Assessment
    • Analysis of generally promising redevelopment approaches for the site

    Goal: A robust data foundation for technical and regulatory decisions.

  2. Laboratory analysis & site-specific feasibility study

    In our own laboratories, we analyze pollutant profiles, degradation potentials, and biological parameters.

    We check:

    • Which in-situ technology is appropriate (e.g., ISCO, biological, TSE, thermal)?
    • How can the site’s natural self-purification potential be maximized?
    • What timeframes and risks should be expected during a renovation?

    This doesn’t result in a theory—but rather in a site-specific, validated remediation scenario.

  3. Remediation concept & permitting strategy

    Based on the laboratory results, we develop a technically and economically sound remediation plan. In doing so, we take the following into account:

    • Remediation Goals Under the Federal Soil Protection Act (BBodSchG)
    • Emissions and Groundwater Protection Requirements
    • Construction Schedule and Project Planning
    • Cost Certainty and Scenarios

    We facilitate coordination with government agencies and lay the groundwork for financing and investment decisions.

  4. Remediation implementation

    The renovation is carried out in a controlled, monitored, and documented manner.

    Depending on the location:

    • In-situ procedures (minimally invasive, without removing the tooth)
    • Solid Injection (TSE Technology)
    • Combined biological and chemical processes
    • Ex-situ Solutions for Renovation During Construction

    The goal is always to permanently eliminate the source of pollution—not merely to shift the problem elsewhere.

  5. Monitoring, performance verification & final documentation

    We document the success of the renovation in a transparent and verifiable manner:
