With the vision of advancing the then-little-known in-situ technology, Dr. Stephan Hüttmann founded Sensatec GmbH in Kiel on May 1, 2005, spinning off from the environmental division of Groth & Co. He launched his own business together with two dedicated employees who also firmly believed in the vision “To protect and restore the environment“.
Our path to the future has always been shaped by ongoing research and the targeted refinement of our methods. By continuously monitoring the latest scientific developments, we ensure that our work remains state-of-the-art. Since our founding in 2005, we have been responsibly identifying, evaluating, and integrating innovative technologies into our projects. This also shapes our commitment to quality and innovation.

In the years that followed, Sensatec grew into a well-respected company within the industry. Acquisitions of competitors, such as ISTEV in Berlin and BBGM in Overath, contributed to our success.
After establishing locations throughout Germany, Sensatec became a leading player in in-situ remediation. At the same time, the company developed an international network of partners, including in Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Southern Europe, China, and Africa.
Today, we are proud to announce that we have 65 dedicated employees across our branches in Germany .
